SILVER – Cream Ale – 2 Silos Brewing Co – VA
When ANYTHING goes…this is a craft beer interpretation to a traditional “cream ale” adding the missing characteristics as the name “Cream Ale” implies. This corn lager has been crafted with flaked oats (for body & mouthfeel), clover honey & orange peel (aroma & flavor) & pinch of lactose (residual sweetness) to create a very unique beer with all the missing sensory components suggested by the name “cream ale.” This beer has inadvertently changed the perception of what a “Cream Ale” is throughout Virginia even though it’s ANYTHING but a Cream Ale.
